Oncology Nurse Practitioner needed in AZ - URGENT - Accepting any state license!
Location: Arizona (AZ) - Just 1 hour from the majestic Grand Canyon!
Position Type: Locum Tenens
Schedule:
- 4-day work week (No Call)
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
- One Friday per month: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Requirements:
- Nurse Practitioner (NP) with an active state license in any U.S. state
- Oncology experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments and physical examinations
- Order and interpret diagnostic laboratory tests
- Perform invasive procedures as necessary
- Formulate evidence-based treatment plans
- Prescribe medications and order chemotherapy and biotherapy regimens
- Conduct health screenings
- Provide patient and family education
Details:
- Low volume: Approximately 4-10 patients per day
