Physician Assistant – Orthopedic Urgent Care

Multi-Specialty Group seeks to add a full-time experienced orthopedic Physician Assistant. The Physician Assistant will be working in an Orthopedic Urgent Care Clinic that will handle only musculoskeletal injuries. The Physician Assistant will diagnose and treat common musculoskeletal problems. This position is clinic based. Common injuries include: sprain, strains, fractures, wound care and post-op problems. Responsibilities include: H&P’s, injury evaluation, fracture reduction, aspirations, injections and providing patient education. The Physician Assistant will be referring to an orthopedic surgeon for surgical consults. Successful Physician Assistants should be NCCPA-Certified and have direct orthopedic fracture care experience. The position is working one week off and one week on. The week on will be working from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm (Monday through Friday) and four hours on Saturday. This is a great suburban area in Phoenix.

Compensation: Base salary range is open (depends on experience). Additionally, there is a full benefits package provided which includes medical, dental, three weeks of vacation, one-week CME and allowance and 401k profit sharing plan. Relocation assistance is available.
