Inpatient PMHNP with Addiction medicine experience sought to join a state-of-the-art inpatient practice in the Ashtabula area--located in Ohio's Northeast corner. This is a hospital employed opportunity, with a Cleveland Clinic affiliate.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience working as a PMHNP in the Behavioral Health field, with specific knowledge in working with patients with substance use disorders.
  • Experience working with an inpatient population
  • Must live within a 40-mile radius or be willing to relocate

    Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm
  • Collaborates with leadership and support teams to develop, maintain and execute an integrated primary care and mental health model of care for patients with substance use disorders.
  • Be an integral member of the treatment team by providing psychiatric direct services daily for check in’s, initial evaluations, follow ups and response to patients in crisis.
  • Provide training and continuing education for staff members related to psychiatric/mental health topics and other clinical evidence based practices.
  • Participate in research opportunities when presented
  • Assists with clinical program development in collaboration with the Clinical Program Manager and Director of Nursing
  • Work with minimal supervision; must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Strong leadership, communication, organizational and time management skills.
