Physician Assistant - Orthopedics
Well-established Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon seeks to add another Orthopedic Physician Assistant to the team. This position is a combination of the office and the OR. The group has a state-of-the-art facility with EMR, MRI, PT, Digital X-ray and ASC. The Physician Assistant would run their own orthopedic clinic. Very busy caseload that includes total hips and knees as well as general cases. The position has no call or weekends but does have the potential for a four day work week.
Responsibilities include: H&P’s, patient evaluation and education, first assist, review lab results, write scripts, treat basic fractures, joint injection and aspiration, hospital rounds and some call (paid extra) within a clinic and hospital setting. Physician Assistants must have some orthopedic experience. The location is in a beautiful area of Providence, Rhode Island.
