Neurosurgery PA- Long Island NY

A large private practice on Long Island is seeking a Neurosurgery PA to join their practice. The incoming PA will work out of the Nassau location. The practice will consider both experienced neurosurgery PAs or new grads with surgical/ neurosurgical rotations. The practice prefers NY licensed candidates.

The position is available due to growth. The schedule is days/ nights/ weekends. Call is shared with the other PAs in the practice, call is paid on top of salary. The position is hospital-based, and will have peri-operative responsibilities, including seeing patients in the Emergency Room and rounding on the floors and First Assisting in the Operating room.

The PA will work with different neurosurgeons in the practice. There will be a mix of clinic and OR as well as working at the hospital with patients in the ER, the position will be heavier in clinic vs OR. The hospital locations are all within the Nassau area.
