Physician Assistant - Orthopedic Urgent Care

Orthopedic Specialty Practice seeks to add a full-time Physician Assistant to their Orthopedic Urgent Care Team. This position will be 100% clinic based. The new Physician Assistant will run their own Orthopedic Urgent Care Clinic. Cases will include new and existing patients and consist of a variety of musculoskeletal injuries. Responsibilities include: H&P’s, injury evaluation, fracture care, aspirations, injections and providing patient education.

Successful Physician Assistants must be Board-Certified. Previous orthopedic experience is required, especially fracture care experience. Physician Assistants with experience in ER or urgent care that have orthopedic experience would also be fine! This is a full-time position which consists of four ten-hour day shifts (Monday through Friday) and some Saturday rotations.

They have a couple of offices all within 20 minutes of Westbury, Long Island.

Compensation: Open (competitive and paid overtime after 40 hours). Additionally, there is an excellent full benefits package provided.
