PA - Orthopedics (Prompt Care) EXPERIENCED ONLY!

Multi-Specialty Healthcare Group seeks to add a full time Physician Assistant. This Physician Assistant will be working in an Orthopedic Prompt Care Clinic. They will handle 100% musculoskeletal injuries. Common injuries include: sprain, strains, fractures, wound care and some post-op problems. Responsibilities include: H&P’s, injury evaluation, fracture reduction, aspirations, injections and other procedures. Successful candidate should be Board-Certified, highly motivated and hard working. This position is 40 hours a week and will be four ten-hour shifts and there can be some Saturday rotation (9:00 am to 2:00 pm). There is no call on this position and additional shifts would be paid accordingly.

Preference is for an experienced Physician Assistant, but the group will consider training a recent graduate PA that has the following backgrounds: ATC, Medic and/or PT. The location is near Springfield, which is a premier city of over 100k. It is two and a half miles from Chicago. The area provides arts and culture, a university including a medical school, reasonable cost of living, solid schools and many other amenities. Salary range is based on experience level and includes an incentive. Additionally, there is a full benefits package provided.
