Board-Certified and Fellowship trained Interventional Pain Management and Physical Medicine Doctor seeks to add another full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to the team. The group has a state-of-the-art Pain Management Center and a modern medical complex. They have their own fluoroscope procedure room with radiofrequency pulse generator. This group is a high-volume practice that handles a strong volume of spine cases and general orthopedic cases. This position is a four and a half day work week (Monday through Friday).
Specific responsibilities include:
- Access, diagnose and treat acute and chronic spine and orthopedic patients
- Evaluate X-ray, CT Scan and MRI
- Perform injections (trigger point and cortisone)
- Return patient evaluations and follow-up
- There is no call, weekends or evenings
- Pain management
- Will run a clinic
- Pre and post procedure follow-up and patient evaluation
- Consult for interventional treatments
- Write scripts and patient education
The practice will train a bright and hard-working Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner graduate. The group prefers candidates that are from the region. The location is an upscale area near Southington.
