New Nurse Practitioner position in the exciting field of Interventional Pain Management. If you want a NP position where you can help patients by lessening their pain symptoms, reducing disability to restore function and activity, this might be the position you have been looking for. This fantastic position combines clinical and procedural medicine and allows the NP to provide patient care and have the ability to perform procedures when necessary on patients.

This NP Position includes taking care of Patients experiencing chronic pain who need interventional treatments and medications. The Nurse Practitioner will identify the causes of the chronic pain and provide interventional techniques to reduce the patient’s symptoms while improving their quality of life and activity level. The NP will work in an area close to Clarksburg, WV and is close to the PA state border. The Nurse Practitioner Candidate will work M-F 8am-5:30pm. The candidate won’t have to work evenings or weekends. The NP candidate will see approximately 20-30 patients a day. This practice has EMR and has a physician on duty on Thursdays and Fridays. The appropriate Nurse Practitioner Candidate should be comfortable practicing independently.  In the future, the practice will be hiring a full-time physician who will work each day.

Requirements: No new grads, please. The NP Candidate must have at least 1 year of experience practicing as a NP.  This practice prefers a patient with Pain Management Experience, but it is not required. No weekends or call. The Nurse Practitioner Candidate must be willing to see patients in the clinical setting and be willing to conduct appropriate spinal and peripheral interventions for patients when necessary.
